Does 2014 Roo Have Gutters Over The Bunks

I had leaking issues with the bunk ends of my 2010 rockwood roo 233s.

Does 2014 roo have gutters over the bunks.

Nice of you to join to just rant. We install many half round gutters and have no complaints. Ideally snow and ice would thaw and run into your gutters. Gutters have a limited capacity and may overflow although they still effectively remove a large volume of water.

But you don t see me ranting and raving. The gutters along your roof catch rainwater as it washes down the side of the roof. If you don t have gutters and downspouts to direct runoff away from your home this will happen every time it rains. It now does not have that seal along the outer edge.

At first i noticed the pinch welt seemed to be on wrong. This made closing the bunk door more difficult tighter to close. They ll push the water right over the seam at the top of the bunks so that i don t have to worry about leaks. I myself have a roo front bunk being shipped for my camper.

I think i have come up with a solution to keep water off of the bunk ends in my 2017 233s roo when they are closed. It is rare not to find a workable match for your home.

I still feel it was a design flaw that was corrected in later models but don t hold any hope for forest river upgrading the bunks. I ve been through the process of replacing the pinch welt. This seems like a logical train of thought but the reason clogged gutters cause damage is because they let water flow over the sides where it pools all around the foundation.
